About Pokey

My name is Pokey! Yes, kind of a funny name. Can you tell I was named by some kiddos? I am about 1 year old and unfortunately, I am finding myself in need of another home. My family is going through some things and they can no longer care for me. I am sad... it's a tough dog world out there but I am so hopeful I can get another chance. I am really good girl. I am about 43 lbs. I have beautiful bluish eyes and great ears! I am good with other dogs I have come across. I live with my sister now. We have a great time together! We are not bonded... don't worry. We could* go together but will thrive separately. I do love those kids. I have lived with kids 3+ and pretty much that is all I have known. I am housebroken, crate-trained, I don't get into trouble at home either! I walk pretty well on a leash. I am a little nervous with new people. I may just need some treats to warm up. I would love a single family home and a fenced in yard (that's what I am used to!).
