About Bowie

Finding a Loving Home for Bowie and Mia Two Senior Girls in Need of a New Family I am looking for a home for my two senior girls. Bowie is a 10-year-old coonhound mix whom I adopted in 2016. Mia is a 9-year-old greyhound whom I adopted in 2019 after she ran 100 races over three years on the track. Bowie is still a very playful and affectionate girl, always happy, always wagging her tail. Mia is simply the easiest dog I have ever cared for. She has no negative traits other than wanting to chase small animals like rabbits and cats, as she was trained to do. I love these girls and hate to give them up, but my fiance is badly allergic. We have tried for two years to make it work, but despite weekly allergy shots, she has been unable to get relief. Therefore, I am looking for a loving home where they can spend the rest of their lives together. They both get along with all people, most dogs but no cats.
