About JOJO

Name: JoJo Age: 14 years Breed: Chihuahua, 8-10 pounds Sex: Neutered Male Location: Oconee County, South Carolina Vet Info: JoJo is neutered but is not up to date on vaccines and has not been tested for heartworm. His current owner can address these needs prior to JoJo moving to his new home. JoJo is blind in both eyes but may be able to see some light or shadows. He also has some hearing deficits. He has allergies and licks his paws a lot. Paw soaks are being done to help ease the irritation he has. Dog Info: JoJo has lived with his current owner for his whole life. Health issues now prevent her from caring for him, requiring him to find a new home. JoJo is a calm senior pup who just mostly wants to find comfy places to sleep. As he is blind and hard of hearing, he needs to be approached slowly as he startles easily and will try to nip. He would need a home without children or with older children who understand his needs and are well supervised. JoJo isn't possessive of food, treats or toys. He is house trained but is not leash trained. He hasn't spent much time around other dogs - the few times he has been with other dogs, he seemed to just bark at them until he got comfortable and settled down. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
