About Rose

Help Rescue Rose! Hi everyone! Rose is a 10-month-old Red Heeler mix (possibly with some Malinois). Rose is a sweet, loving dog who deserves a fresh start, and I hope to find the right person/people help her. A little about Rose: Likes: Fetch Chew toys & interactive toys (she loves brain games!) Walks (especially in quiet areas, without a crowd) s '' Jumping (she has some dog-show-level jumps!) Cuddles & pets (she's a real snuggle bug!) Things she's working on: Fear of new people and dogs (needs a calm and patient handler. I currently have a dog dying of cancer she is afraid of and this is making his last days difficult to be honest) Leash training (she's getting better every day) | Medical: Rose is not spayed yet, but she is up to date on her shots. She benefits from trazadone before vet visits as she is very skilled in escaping tight spots, but the vet agrees that she is a healthy girl with is not fear aggressive (just scared). Rose is looking for a home with lots of open space where she can grow at her own pace, with a handler who is calm, consistent, and experienced with dogs that have fear-based behaviors. She thrives in a stable, secure environment and would do well in a farm environment or anywhere with space to run. Also, Rose is crate-trained (she still does whine when in the crate, but willingly will go in most of the time) and is part way house trained (still learning about toys as we believe her previous situation didn't let her access toys much).
