Name: Almas Breed: 6 Months old (40#) Sex: Male (Neutered) Location: Lincoln County, NC Vet Info: UTD on vaccines. HW status unknown. Owner reports: Almas is being helped by a good samaritan. Previous owner did not want him.. Almas is possible product of inbreeding, and his father is reported to be visually impaired. Almas is an indoor dog who is crated. He is not house broken but is leash trained. He knows the following commands: 'Sit, Come, Crate.' He is working on 'Wait'. Almas is reported to be good with adults, children of all ages, other dogs and cats. He current lives with some farm animals and cats. According to his caretaker, 'This pup has done very well at adoption events meeting new people and other dogs. He is introduced under strict supervision. We took the pups from a bad situation and are trying to find them homes through rescue networking. We have been working on goggles because bright light makes him squint so much he can hardly see. We are not familiar with vision impaired dogs and want him to have the best opportunities. He's very smart.'
