About Cornell

Meet Cornell , a sweet and shy 10-month-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix. With her beautiful red coat and captivating amber eyes, she's as stunning as she is gentle. Nelly may be a bit reserved at first, but don't let her shyness fool you-once she trusts you, she'll quickly become your most loyal companion. She's content to cuddle up in your lap and while she loves being close to her humans, she is also very independent and is able to relax alone in her xpen or her dog bed during the day. She sleeps through the night without a peep in her kennel. Nelly rarely barks and appears to be house trained (no accidents since we've had her, but we always expect that there could be regression as she adjusts to a new environment). Nelly gets along wonderfully with the male dog in our household and is making learning to tolerate our female dog and our cats. While she seems to prefer the company of female humans, she warmed up to everyone in our home within the first week. Cornell will need a little patience and understanding to become her best self, but with time, she's sure to blossom into the affectionate and devoted dog you've been waiting for.
