About Mister

Dog with training ISO New Home (small re-homing fee) This dapper gentleman is Mister! He is looking for his forever home. Mister has been boarding and training with us since October. Unfortunately, Mister's owner did not pay for any services from us and abandoned him. Before Mister was dropped off with us, he was found as a stray by his previous owner who took him to animal control, then picked him up and brought him to us for rehabilitation and training. Upon arrival, he was emaciated and fearful - Mister is now in excellent physical shape and has gained a lot of confidence. Mister is very friendly to kids, people and other dogs. He has only played with dogs his size - he has not been tested with smaller dogs. While Mister is friendly to kids, he does become nervous if they throw objects or are too rambunctious. Mister, while overall a very happy dog has moments when he will become frightened - we have made a ton of progress with this but his future owner has to be aware. Mister has been living in a home like setting and is crate trained along with house trained. He can get scared of certain sounds from the TV. Mister knows his name along with basic commands, hand signals, and how to walk on a leash. Mister is intact, and will need to be neutered by his new owner. New owner will be expected to sign a contract stating they will neuter him. Mister is current in all vaccines and has been receiving heartguard each month. Home requirements: - No children under 10 (just because he can become afraid of loud sounds and throwing objects, more common in younger children) - Fenced yard - No relations to previous owner -Mister has not been tested with small dogs or cats, we will prefer a home without these. -small rehoming fee
