At 13 lbs, she's been enjoying plenty of love (and treats!) from her handler and fellow inmates. Ideally, she should be around 9 lbs, but don't tell her that-Maddie struts around like she owns the place! Maddie has formed a deep bond with her handler, and saying goodbye won't be easy. That's why we're looking for an adopter who will send updates so we can share them with him-it's part of the journey, and it helps both Maddie and her foster dad transition. A little bossy but full of charm, Maddie gets along with other dogs as long as they respect her space. She's also a fan of the prison cats and coexists with them just fine.
