Available Very Eager To Please German Shepherd mix Approximate DOB 7/14/2024 - About 50 lbs Goose was showing poorly at the shelter due to fear aggression. She was severely under socialized and reactive on leash. She has been with us about 2 weeks and has made remarkable progress. She is an absolutely amazing young girl but will need someone who can continue her work and is knowledgeable about dog behavior and training or willing to hire a trainer. Goose loves to play with other dogs but is still learning how to greet new dogs appropriately. It seems as though her old owners did not take her out in public so she was only around one person and her small dog so it will take time but she is a fast learner. She would do wonderful in a home with a loving, active person she can follow around and cuddle on the couch with, maybe go on adventures with and learn about the world to combat some of that stress and anxiety around strangers. Goose is an amazing young girl who learns quickly and is very treat motivated. She is still learning what toys are so but seems to love learning about fetch. She ignores the cats and is the type of girl who stays right next to her loved one. Goose is leash trained, crate trained, house trained, dog door trained, and eager to please. Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $200 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required. Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you.
