About Sammy

Sad boy Sammy could really use an SOS getting out of the shelter. Sammy is an ~8yr old senior who came to the shelter as an unwanted stray and has spent the last 7 months living in a kennel. The stress of his reality has caused him to lose so much weight. He lays curled up on his bed, wishing he was anywhere else. When he walks, he pulls to walk along a wall as his back legs seem stiff and walking along the wall is some kind of guardrail for him.. this poor boy'| He loves treats and can't help but want to jump into your lap for giving him some kind of love and attention. He is not reactive towards other dogs but he is not friendly with them if they get too close to his personal space '| Sammy is looking for a loving home where he is the only pet so he can enjoy the simple things in life. Doesn't he deserve to know what real love is? Our hearts are broken for him as every day passes and Sammy loses hope of ever making it out of the shelter. Just look at his eyes.. his eyes say it all
