Why do so many good doggies wait so long to find their homes? If you're looking for a big, goofy, playful, energetic buddy- Cyrus is your guy. Cyrus has been waiting for someone to bring him home after being surrendered since LAST MARCH. That's almost 1 whole year at the shelter. He is just such a fun loving, well-intentioned pup who just does not know his own size and strength (60lbs+). He really needs someone to see in him what we see in him- he is really a good boy. Cyrus listens well (especially for treats), he just gets a little excited and can't help but pull a little on walks or jump up from excitement when given attention'| would you not after almost a year feeling unwanted and unloved, the slightest form of attention getting you through your lonely days. After a nice long walk to burn off some of that energy this boy is nothing short of perfect. He is the ultimate fetch player, always eager to drop his toy for another throw to romp and play with. And let's talk about those ears of his. Those ears with a mind of their own. Cyrus would love to make it out of the shelter before his 1 year mark. He seems doggy friendly but could be a lot of energy for some dogs so an only dog house or proper meet and/or multiple meets, slow introductions home with doggy siblings would be ideal. Please please please come meet Cyrus
