About Lazlo

A Kangal Rescue group reached out to me nearly 2 weeks ago to assist as a foster/placement for Lazlo, a 4 y/o Kangal (panter lines). This site did not have the Kangal breed listed. Lazlo was part of 88 animals removed from horrid conditions in The Colony. After being contacted and meeting him twice, I brought him to my home where he has been socialized with my 2 dogs (a female GSD and a male 60 pound rescue) and 2 cats. He is a true gentleman and is coming into his own having spent 4 years in a kennel. That was the life as described by the investigators. Due to past altercations, it is recommended that Lazlo be placed in a home without cats or small dogs. On leash, he has shown protective tendencies but no aggression towards anyone. He needs a dominant personality/parent and immediately submissive to me (I'm 6'3'). Usually drops to the side and rolls on his back. A real sweetheart. Lazlo is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. I would like to rehome him to a RURAL area where he will be able to live indoors and outdoors, but have access to a large fenced in property where he can roam freely. He needs a protective home with land with an individual or family who has a history with large LGD/live stock dogs. If you do not have a history with these dogs, please do not contact me. I will inquire about your hx/experience and will request pictures of your home/property to ensure it is adequate. He is not to be kenneled as that was his prior existence. I will assist in transport within 300 miles of Allen, Texas.
