About Dash

Meet Dash! At 1 year old and 30 pounds, Dash is a lovable and active little guy with a long body and short legs. We believe he's a Corgi/Heeler mix, but don't let his short stature fool you - Dash is an athlete! He loves hiking for miles and enjoys swimming as well. Dash gets along great with other dogs, though he can be a bit wary of certain people, especially men. Found as a stray, Dash had little socialization at first. However, his dedicated foster mom has been working hard with him for the past month, and he's made great progress. Dash is now starting to enjoy snuggling up rather than sleeping alone, which is a huge step for him. Dash would thrive in a quiet, patient home with a fenced yard. He'd do best with a single person or a couple who can provide a calm, loving environment. Due to his past, we don't recommend him for a family with young children. It's important to note that Dash will need time to adjust when transitioning to a new home, but with love and patience, he will flourish. His foster mom has been doing an amazing job working with him on basic commands, and Dash is a smart cookie! He's also been enjoying mental stimulation through puzzle games, and he's already completed Level 1! After a tough first year, he deserves a wonderful future full of love and adventures. Dash is neutered, current on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $275.
