Thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who coaxed him into her car, Herman received the care he desperately needed at the vet. The vet treated his foot and ensured he was neutered and vaccinated, setting him up for a healthier future. Weighing in at a manageable 52 pounds, Herman is a playful and energetic dog who thrives in the company of other medium to large dogs. While he hasn't been tested with small dogs yet, his friendly demeanor suggests that he could easily adapt to them too! Herman is currently in foster care in the high desert, and his affectionate personality is shining through as he awaits a meet and greet with his potential adopters. Ideal for families or individuals with active lifestyles, Herman is a large breed pup who dreams of having a backyard where he can run and play freely. However, if a yard isn't available, he would also love a companion who has access to parks, hiking trails, or beaches, as he requires plenty of exercise to keep his mind and body happy.
