About Boss

I'm reaching out about Boss, a 62lb, 4-year-old, intact American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a strong, confident personality. He is in need of a rescue who can help him find the right home. Boss is easily leashable, allows full handling, and has no issues exiting his kennel. Due to his strength, he would benefit from further leash training to improve his walking skills. He may exhibit jumpy or mouthy behavior with his handler, and has been known to snap at his leash when returning to his kennel. It's important to note that Boss has a bite history with two recorded bites. Boss would thrive in a home with experienced dog guardians who understand his needs and can provide ongoing training and management.
