Noodles is fairly independent but also affectionate enough to share bonding time every day. He jumps up on my lap most evenings, greets me when I come home, and jumps on the bed just long enough fir a scratch and a goodnight. He is large, almost 20 lbs. We travel a lot and I feel he spends far too much time alone. I don't want to let him go but feel he would do better with a human who is more present. He has never stepped outside any open door, even when given opportunities. Indoor only. Still plays with his kitten toys. Hangs out every night on TV console, blocking view or in his chair next to me. Never goes on top of tables or counter tops but we see evidence in the morning that he actually does... Coaster or envelope on the floor. Offering him to someone else is extremely difficult but I believe someone else could be more present for him.
