I have a blue doberman. I rescued him from someone who was neglecting him. He had a choke chain growing in his neck. I was looking for a family doberman and realized this one was not good for my family but I couldn't leave him there. He was also underweight. While traveling home we got in a wreck and the impact dislodged the chain. He will probably always have a scar but he is healing. After the accident, he decided I was a trustworthy person and he loves me. Unfortunately he does not love everyone in the family though and does not do well with visitors. Honestly, he just needs someone to step in and be the pack leader so to say. He learns fast but I am going through cancer and surgeries right now and back pain from the wreck, and I can't physically train him and that's really what he needs. He didn't seem to know any commands and didn't even respond to his name so I don't think he was given any attention for a while and that is what's contributing to his behavior. Until someone can give him proper training, he's a liability to my family. So I'm looking for him a patient home or at least someone who could take him until I'm able to physically handle him again.
