About Daisy June

Daisy June ('DJ') is looking for her forever home. She is a Bull Terrier/Staffordshire mixed breed about 2 years young who is house and crate trained. She's dog social and very people social. DJ is high energy and would benefit if she had a running or cycling companion for daily exercise and adventures. DJ was pulled from a shelter at the time she was slated for euthanasia. Her WNC rescuers suffered loss of all their fencing from Hurricane Helene (and she was forced to be crated 24/7) so we took DJ to help foster and work on her training to set her up for success. She is not for the novice dog owner or a home with young children due to her desire to greet you with her whole being. She can self-entertain for hours, but leaving her unattended is not an option. If bored she will take advantage to get into trouble. DJ is very affectionate and loves to snuggle during tv time. She is incredibly smart, wants to learn and please, and is very trainable. DJ is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, Heartworm negative and current on vaccines and monthly prevention. I estimate she's 50-55#. Please consider adopting her only if you are ready for a lifetime commitment. She is bonding with us and needs to bond with her forever family. (Fee will be given to the rescue who paid for vetting.)
