About oly

Oly is a 12 year old senior dog, a foodie, independent, happy, and likes to keep to herself but loves to cuddle next to you on the couch. She loves nothing more than chicken and will sell her soul for delicious food. She has contact dermatitis since she was a puppy and is currently on a controlled dose of medication called apoquel once daily. The reason we are looking for a new home for her is because her temperament is not compatible with our three year old toddler, who likes to grab and reach without permission sometimes. Sometimes Oly doesn't like that and would respond sort of aggressively. She would not be compatible in a household with young children. Furthermore, our toddler is mildly allergic to her. Raising a toddler that is allergic and not compatible with your animal is hard on us and also on Oly. It's just not fair for her. The ideal owner would be someone who truly is empathic, loving, patient and kind. Someone who truly loves dogs and understands them.
