Rocky is a very affectionate boy with a lot of love to give. He loves to play, and he loves to snuggle in your lap. He likes to be with his people as much as possible, but he does pretty well if you have to leave him, as long as he has a sectioned off area and something he likes to chew on. He is well potty trained and knows several commands. He does very well on walks and thoroughly enjoys them. He loves to fetch, run with you, and play tug. He also likes to sing along to the piano. :) He has done well with most of the animals on our farm (cats, dogs, chickens, goats), but he does not like the cow. Rocky is a very independent boy, so you have to make him feel like it's his idea to obey commands. He does not like to be pulled by the collar- a leash is best or luring with incentives. He is happiest when near his person, but this results in guarding behaviors. For these reasons, he would be better suited for a home with no small children. We took Rocky in when the family he was supposed to go to decided they would not take him. He has a special place in our hearts, and we wish we could keep him. But we just had a baby, and we know that in coming months Rocky will not understand how to handle a curious little one. We want so much for Rocky to find a good home that will understand him and give him the attention we can no longer provide.
