This is Hazel Honey B. She turns 4 yrs old 2/28/25. She was born 2/28/21 in Nebraska. She is typically very sweet but not when it comes to her food, treats, or toys. She has a resource guarding tendency that is not good for kids. We had a trainer for a short time that felt confident he could help her but a few thousand dollars. She does not like being pet and spins in circles for hours. Do some research into dog autism before inquiring as we believe that is her difficulty. The trainer mentioned he did not feel she was very smart and can tell she is more dominant at times. We've used various extensive training attempts including daily 5min session to no avail with gentleness with our children. She is very sensitive to vaccines and the aggression becomes worse. It will be your discretion on how to vaccinate her. We would recommend not breeding and avoiding males. Your decision on spaying - we were avoiding it for trying to avoid further aggression. She does not handle bones well and gets most aggressive with that. The good: She LOVES running. she does excellent with mile long jogs and I'm sure she would do well with training to go longer. She is really gentle on walks with the leash we will provide. She is highly food motivated but not your typically golden behavior. She enjoys it when the living space is quiet and looking out the windows. She hardly barks and loves chasing squirrels. She enjoys my husband more than myself. We purchased her spring 2021 as an emotional support animal for our family. She is really sensitive to crying - it's the only time she likes to comfort and soothe. But came to us with these behaviors and were noticed at 9 weeks old. She is house trained and crate trained.
