About Meg

'Mama Meg is a 2 year old, lab mix, that joined MHCR with 10 puppies in tow! She showed up at the shelter in Houston weighing only 36 lbs as she was giving her pups everything her little body had. It wasn't long before Meg and her pups found themselves on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. It was then that their CO foster saw their plea and opened her home to save their lives. Meg's pups are named after tire brands and since she has such a wide selection, it only made sense to dub the family Meg's Discount Tires. zz. Meg has spent the last few weeks gaining some weight and finishing up raising her pups. She's crate trained, house trained, and seems very much like she was once someone's beloved pet. She's much healthier looking now than her shelter pics and weighs 41 lbs. She still needs a bit more weight but only a few lbs. Meg enjoys walks and seems to do well on a leash, too. Don't delay!
