About Bones

We are extremely devastated to admit we have to rehome our dog Bones. He has been in our family for almost 8 years and he is about 9 years old now. Unfortunately, our living situation has changed and we are not able to keep him anymore. He is up to date on shots and neutered. We were patient and tried everything from vets recommendation. Meds/training etc. Vet thinks he is beagle mixed with dachshund and maybe some pit-bull (due to his fur coat). His white fur is short and his gray/silver fur is almost like peach fuzz skin. Therefore, he does not shed much at all (but he gets super cold in the winter). He is a beautiful breed/mix but he's also a super sweet and loving boy to anyone who gives him attention. He's not aggressive at all. He loves people, kids and other dogs/animals. Problems: He has bad separation anxiety and HAS to be around other dogs or a human. He is obsessed with mother figures and will follow them around sometimes and always want to sleep next to them at night. He still loves men too and will cuddle next to them if the woman/mom is not home. Our biggest problem is that he started to mark around the house with pee and we can't figure out how to stop this. He does go outside to potty but hates it in the freezing cold with his thin fur. I know it's asking a lot but if someone has more training or experience than us and can give him a loving home it would mean the world to us. We want to make sure he goes with the right person/family. That is the only reason there is a fee and it will be donated to rescue me. It's going to be extremely tough and sad for us to let him go but we have no other options at the moment. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you can give Bones a chance at a loving warm home.
