About Onyx

Meet Onyx! She is a 1yr old (14mos) Labrador mix. She found herself in the care of a rescue partner when her owners lost their home. She is in a temporary foster home and is in need of a fur-ever home ASAP! She has had a complete vet work-up and behavior assessment. Here is what we know: *Onyx weighs in at 50lbs *She is a truly sweet, kind, gentle soul *She was with 3 other very big dogs and did great with all of them. (male & female 50+lbs) *She is currently in a foster home with 6 small dogs all under 20 lbs. and is submissive with them all. *She is potty trained, can use dog door and is not destructive *Crate trained, spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped *Onyx would be great with any sized dog sibling and would love hiking and walking adventures *She loves her humans and aims to please Onyx does have Valley Fever (1:8 titer) but does not show symptoms. She is on Fluconazole pills daily. VF is very common in dogs in Arizona and is completely treatable. She will need to be on continuing treatment and get a blood draw every 6mos.
