About Charlie

Hello, I'm looking for a foster for my dog Charlie or any rescue that is willing to take him . He is a large dog . St Pyrenees bull terrier mix. My wife and I recently had a child and it has not gone well with Charlie . He has been aggressive around the baby and has put us in a difficult decision. He currently is being placed in a room for the majority of day to separate from the baby. This is no quality of life for him. We have failed him as owners and leaders. He is highly protective and aggressive towards anyone new that enters our house. He is great with our immediate family that he was introduced as puppy. When he goes to his dog sitters he is great with there dogs and the dog sitter has even invited over her family , which Charlie has never met and there has been no issues. To whoever gets to this far of this caption I truly appreciate it. He is a great and loyal dog but we have failed him in terms of establishing a healthy relationship with him and he has suffered due to our inability to properly train him. We have reached out to specialist and have just been recommended to medicate him everyday , which I don't believe is a great solution for him and in my opinion a selfish one just to keep him around and I would just like him to have a second chance at a good fulfilling life.
