About Scout

Scout is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered male dog weighing around 70lbs. He's up-to-date on all his shots, dental care, and checkups, and he's microchipped, so he's ready to find his forever family. Scout is a sweet and loving dog who thrives in a calm environment. He's looking for a patient and understanding owner who can provide him with plenty of exercise and appreciate his timid nature. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and loves to play and run - he'll happily chase a ball or explore the great outdoors! Scout is looking for a safe home where he can be an only dog and the star of the show. He adores his family and even sleeps with our 8-year-old daughter. He can be reactive towards other dogs, particularly when approached off-leash, and tends to become fearful and exhibit aggressive behavior in stressful situations.
