About Bella

Bella likes to cuddle a lot and is extremely affectionate. She will want to follow you everywhere and rest in your lap. She makes for a great companion dog so if you're looking for an adorable little dog to be your best friend, Bella is your girl. She is very protective and makes for a great little alarm dog. Bella can be both very excitable, eager for attention and also very tranquil, peacefully sun bathing next to you. Bella does need to have some decent space to roam around. I first adopted her off the street and so she's used to roaming freely. She is still working on her house skills as well and needs to have a regular bathroom schedule. Surviving on the streets also meant relying on herself to find food so if you have a habit of leaving food around where she can jump up to get it, she will eat it for you. All in all, Bella is a very sweet girl who's looking for a home that will kindly show her the ropes for being a good house pet. In return, she will love her family endlessly - whether you're a family with little ones or a partnership or maybe just a single looking to become a duo, Bella will fit right in as the cutest little furry addition. Additional details: You may need to stock up on lint rollers or maybe invest in a good vacuum 'cause this girls a shedder. With some good grooming techniques however, you can help her take care of her coat and yours! She can get along just fine with other pets although she will need a formal introduction and some time to sniff out her new roommates. She loves people but none more than her family and she'll let strangers know that with some barking. It's best to formally introduce her to anyone new - furry or furless. She can be very curious and at times a bit mischievous. She truly is a companion dog so if you leave her by herself, she may take the chance to explore. If there's anything you want to avoid from being eaten or tossed in the laundry basket, I'd suggest keeping close tabs on her or limiting her access to things when you can't be with her. And lastly, she needs a lot of love. Hugs and kisses and cuddles! And this, along with her high food motivation, should make for some seamless training too!
