About Virgil

He has been patiently waiting at Pinal Animal Shelter since April 2024, and he is more than ready for a fresh start. Virgil is a 2-year-old, friendly, and affectionate dog who loves meeting new people. He has done well with kids as young as two and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He is also dog-friendly and has even met goats and pigs. Virgil is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is crate trained, knows his basic commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. He recently had a special day out hiking, where he was calm and well-mannered, showing no reaction to other dogs, people, joggers, or bikes. He enjoyed exploring, sniffing his surroundings, and sitting politely for treats. This sweet and loving boy thrives on affection and has striking markings that make him stand out.
