About Maude

Meet Maude, a ~40lb black 1-year-old Border Collie mix. Just a few short months ago, Maude was languishing in a shelter in Tennessee with a dislocated and fractured pelvis. Once her story reached the ears of Shelter Manager Stephanie, she knew she had to do something to help. Maude was bundled up, and with the help of a volunteer pilot, flown to Luna Farms Rescue in Alabama. Maude was immediately scheduled for reparation surgery, which went without complication. As of today, Maude has been restoring her strength and gaining her personality back in one of Luna Farm's foster homes. Her foster family tells us how wonderful of a dog she is. Maude doesn't let her past deter her from playing fetch in grassy fields or running around with her doggy friends. While she and stairs don't mix, she rules the first level of her home like the brave warrior she is. Even after all that she's been through, Maude still has so much love to give and is hoping for the same in return. Are you willing to give this sweet and strong girl a chance?
