LOCATION: Huntsville, TX DOB: 11/25/2024 Twelve weeks ago, two divine pups, Ares and Aphrodite, were born-the great Olympians' four-legged counterparts. Ares was bold and brimming with courage. He charged into new adventures without hesitation, barking his battle cries at rustling leaves and giant foes (the guardian's dog). His heart was as fearless as his namesake's, but instead of a sword, he wielded love, lavishing mortals with sloppy kisses and claiming their laps as his rightful throne. Though he was born for freedom, he had already learned the ways of the crate, curling up like a warrior resting between battles. But the leash? That was a different story. This champion of Olympus has not been bound (yet)! Aphrodite was a goddess of love in her own way-not one to give it freely, but to offer it as a precious gift once she decided one was worthy. She needed time to warm up, but when she did, her love was as deep as the sea, as gentle as the morning breeze. Aphrodite found comfort in the sanctuary of her crate, a cozy temple all her own, where she could retreat from the noise of the world. She was almost fully trained in the ways of the mortals, understanding where she should and should not relieve herself, though sometimes, in moments of distraction or uncertainty, she still made mistakes. But she was learning, as all great goddesses do, and soon she would master this skill completely. Ares and Aphrodite's mortal guardian fed them, loved them, and kept them safe. But the Fates had already woven a grander destiny. Ares and Aphrodite were not meant to stay in one place for long. They were to find new homes, where they would bring joy, devotion, and a touch of divine mischief. Ares, ever the warrior, was ready. He loved his sister, but he knew he could forge his own path. He had faced the great beasts of the realm (the guardian's dog, who was more amused than threatened by his tiny growls) and had even encountered a silent, mysterious creature with glowing eyes (the cat, who Ares had yet to realize was anything of note). He was fearless, independent, and destined for a mortal family who would adore him as the champion of their hearts. Aphrodite, though quieter, was ready too. She had learned that mortals were kind, that their hands could be gentle, their voices soft. She knew that somewhere out there, a home awaited her-a place where she could warm up at her own pace, where she could curl up in her crate when she needed comfort, where she could love and be loved without fear. As the sun set over their temporary Olympus, Ares and Aphrodite curled together, dreaming of the adventures ahead. Their guardian whispered to them, promising they would be safe, loved, and cherished wherever they went. And so, their tale continues-not in the heavens, but in the homes of mortals, where they will live as legends in the hearts of those lucky enough to call them their own. ========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .
