LOCATION: Mechanicsville, VA DOB: 08/22/2017 Hi there! I'm Archer Moo McBiggins, but you can call me Archer for short. I'm around 7 years young and live in Mechanicsville, Virginia with my awesome foster family and my canine siblings. I'm a big guy with a heart to match, and while I may be considered a senior, I still love to bounce around the yard for playtime. When I'm not running around, you can usually find me lounging on the couch, soaking up all the comfy vibes. I get along with most dogs as long as they're not too dominant or overly energetic. I'm a laid-back kind of guy, and I prefer a more relaxed pack. As for cats, I do love a good chase, but it's all in fun-so I'd do best in a home with dog-savvy cats, or no cats at all. Kids? I adore them! I'm very social and love being around people of all ages. I'm always up for an adventure-whether that's going for rides or checking out new places. I'm housebroken and crate trained, but I do have a bit of separation anxiety, so I'll need a crate when my humans are away. But don't worry, I'm totally worth the extra effort because I'm full of love and affection. I'll happily return all the cuddles you give me, and I'm in need of a lot of them! I'm a bit of a leash puller (I'm big, what can I say?), but I'm getting better at walking nicely by your side. My favorite toys are the super durable Bark Box chewers-I'm a pro at shredding them! I also take medication for arthritis, but my foster mom says it's not expensive and I'm more than worth it. I'd really love to find a home where I have company most of the time because, being a senior, I prefer to be out of my crate as much as possible. At night, I sleep in a giant orthopedic bed at the foot of my foster parents' bed, but when my foster dad is away... I sneak into bed with my foster mom!
