About Isla

sla is a new arrival who came from a rural shelter with little space. She is an eight month, female, something. Isla weighed 22lbs at our vet office. Isla was a stray and tested positive for heartworm at our vet office. The shelter was clear that Isla was an escape artist. The picture of Isla climbing over the cage is actually at the shelter. They shared the picture with us. Since her arrival into our rescue, she has been nothing less than perfect. She just wants to be a total velcro dog. Isla is currently in a wonderful, quiet, foster home pending her heartworm treatment. If an adopter surfaces, we would love to get Isla into her forever home as a foster to adopt. It would require loving her through the heartworm treatment process. If interested, please submit an application and we will explain the entire process. This dog is sweet and just wants to be held. At eight months old, we are hoping she will be fine through heartworm treatment. She is truly amazing. The cage pictures were taken at our vet office during her time there. Adoption fee $400
