About Rowan

Adoption Fee: $300
Lab mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Meet ROWAN! He just made the trip from a high kill shelter in Georgia to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on 2/15/25 and is doing amazing in his foster home. He was found all by himself on 12/26/25 at the end of an old service road in rural Georgia where someone most likely dumped him for one reason or another. Animal control then brought him to the local shelter and there he sat for almost 2 months until he was brought to Wisconsin. Rowan is about 8 years young. He is a super friendly and sweet guy. He was a little confusing when he first got to the shelter because he stares at you directly in the eyes all the time. At first they thought he was getting defensive, but really he is looking at you for direction. He is a smart and been there done that kind of guy who is always observing. He gets along with everyone and is chill, but also likes to play and be goofy. He is potty trained, crate trained (but doesn't need the crate) and walks great on the leash. His Wisconsin foster says she has never met a better dog and he is doing amazing. We would love to help this guy find a forever home where he can relax and know what real love is like. He is seriously the best boy! Someone give him the forever home he deserves! __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, heart worm prevention (age appropriate) and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.)
