About Max

Max is a smart, sweet boy. 6 years old, 34 lbs. He's protective of his family and yard. He just needs to be the only dog in a household. He's used to a large fenced back yard, and doggie door where he will go in and out as he pleases. Excellent on leash and loves car rides, knows basic commands. House broken and kennel trained. He doesn't like loud noises, thunder, or bangs. Ok with kids but doesn't like being pulled on or playfully hit. He's generally quiet and observant. We have to re-home him because he prefers being the only dog, especially because he and our other male dogs get jealous of each other. I've recently become disabled and physically can't or afford to give him the attention he deserves. Please help find this handsome guy a forever home.
