About Zoe Piper

Adoption Fee: $50
Miniature Pinscher mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Zoe is a super sweet girl! She is very smart and picks up training easily. She loves to run and loves the outdoors. I rescued her from the shelter after someone returned her because of her high energy. She had an upper respiratory infection at the time and had to be on meds. I was afraid she wouldn't get adopted if she was sick. She of course is all better! I've had her for almost a year now. She is eager to please and loves to play. Her favorite outside game is fetch! She is the Queen of Toys! She loves to chew so extra tough toys are a must! She will shred stuffed toys in a matter of minutes. We also have a smaller dog that is very chill and Zoe plays too aggressively with her and hurts her sometimes. She does great with bigger dogs. When we board her they always put her with the big dogs and she is right at home. She does great with my daughter's dogs who are three times her size. She hasn't been around cats that we know of. She loves to sleep next to her human. She will lay in her crate and play with toys on her own but doesn't like to be locked in. She rides great in the car and is most content going everywhere with her human. She does have separation anxiety and can be destructive if left alone out of the crate. She is good with older kids that give her love but don't try to pick her up or grab at her. She's never been aggressive to a child and allows lots of pets at the park. Her ideal home would be with a family or individual that can give her lots of affection and attention, be the only dog or have much bigger dogs, and definitely a fenced yard so she can run. She gets the zoomies inside and it is wild! She definitely needs running space! She would be best suited in a house, not an apartment, with a large fenced yard. I love her so much and want the best home possible for her! She was found in Gwinnett as a stray originally and no one ever claimed her. She deserves the best so we can't let her go to just anyone! The only reason I would consider giving up my girl is because she is too dominant and rough with our smaller, older girl. They both want to be the Alpha and neither will back down. Because Zoe is bigger, she hurts the smaller one sometimes. Zoe is 28 pounds as if her last vet visit a couple of months ago. We 100% believe that adopting a dog is a life-long commitment. As I've said, I am only considering this because it is in both of my pupper girls best interest. Please only adopt her if you can give her the home described above! She's an awesome girl and deserves the best! She will come with two beds, a crate, and lots of toys!
