About Penelope

Penelope was adopted from this site approximately 3 years ago, with the strong suggestion that she be an only dog. The home she came from there were several dogs fighting constantly. She got along with my lab upon the first meeting, but soon became aggressive toward him. I have invested significant time and money into training and the incidents have become less but she is still reactive towards him on occasion. He is 11 years old and I can't in good conscience subject him to this behavior any longer. Penelope has been fantastic with all people, including my grandkids, and has never been aggressive toward any other dog or person since I have had her. She is very well trained, but has a problem with other dogs in the house, She loves being the center or attention, watching TV, and snuggling.
