Rue is approximately 6yrs old and was a rescue from a hording situation. He was born with a genetic disorder due to inbreeding. He has an issue with developing bladder crystals and a narrow urethra which makes it hard to pass them.It has been about 2 yrs since he blocked Because He stays on an RX diet which costs about 36 dollars a month and can be purchased from chewy with a prescription. He is long haired but growing out from his last shave so does need regular grooming or will mat. Rue is a fantastic cat, smart, sweet, gorgeous, loves to be in your lap, will let you hold and cuddle him all night, is not destructive and is talkative. Problem is he hates other cats and I have 6 other rescues. And stress can make his condition worse. He also torments my other cats and spends most of the day terrorizing one in particular making his life miserable. Rue has his own room here where I can keep him from getting into the regular cat food and separate him when necessary. I also keep a pee pad down in there so I can monitor if he starts passing blood or is not peeing at all. I am having to sell my house however due to financial issues and will no longer have a way to seperate him and this will just not work. Rue is an awsome cat and will be great for a person who can give him the attention and luv he deserves. He will be happier as will the other rescues. He will also be able to relax and have a person all to himself. I wish I didn't have to do this but I nolonger have an option.
