About Yeti

Meet Yeti, a two year old Norwegian Elkhound mix with a heart as big as his smile. Yeti's story began in the most difficult of circumstances. Found abandoned and alone after his previous owner passed away. He was left on a chain with no shelter or food. His spirit, however, remained unbroken. Through his time of hardship Yeti wore down his bottom teeth in an attempt to break free, a testament to his longing for freedom and safety. But Yeti's journey is one of resilience, and his future is bright. Despite the rough start in life he has shown nothing but kindness and warmth to everyone he meets. His temperament ism is gentle and friendly, making him the perfect companion for any loving family. Yeti is incredibly dog-friendly and kid-friendly and his love for life shines through everything he does. Yeti's excitement for the world is contagious. He's always eager to explore, though he might need a little leash training as he's excited to see everything around him! While he is still learning to control his energy on walks, he is already house trained and listens well to commands, especially when it comes to sitting for a treat. When it's time to relax he is all about snuggles, whether it be curling up on the couch or cuddling in the bed. He is a big love bug. Yeti may have had a rough start, but he's ready for his next chapter. He's ready for the family he so greatly deserves to love and cherish him.
