About Mitchell

Just like his brother Milo, Mitchell deserves a loving home to help him blossom! Here's a description for this sweet boy: Meet the gentle Mitchell! This approximately one-year-old black lab mix has come to TRACS with his brother Milo, ready to learn all about the good life after a somewhat isolated start. Their owner's long-term hospitalization has opened up a new path for these deserving boys, and Mitchell is eager to find a patient and kind forever family right here in Montana. Having spent his first year mostly in a backyard, Mitchell is understandably a little reserved when meeting new people. However, his sweet nature shines through, and he's been wonderful with our team and gets along great with other dogs. He simply needs a bit of time and understanding to feel safe and secure in new environments. Mitchell, who might have a touch of border collie intelligence or pitty strength in his mix, is a handsome, full-grown dog weighing in at around 48-50 pounds. He's already conquered his neuter surgery (on March 12th!) and is making excellent progress learning new skills. He's now trained to use a doggy door and is doing well on leash - imagine the quiet walks you could enjoy together as he gains confidence! Just like Milo, Mitchell is microchipped and fully vaccinated, and his adoption fee is $200, barely covering the cost of his recent surgery. Our biggest hope is to see both Mitchell and Milo quickly find loving homes where they can finally begin their true journey as cherished family members.
