About Dash

Adoption Fee: $200
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Dash is a very lovable blue heeler. House trained. 27 pounds. Small for his breed. He just turned one year old on Jan 11. Unfortunately, I have to have knee surgery on February 20, and will not be able to return to the activity he needs and is used to. He also guards toys and food, and has nipped my kids (3,5) a few times. Mostly their fault for reaching while he had a toy. I've worked with him on this, but have made the decision to be fully transparent and hopefully find a family who is better suited for him. For a heeler, he is very lovey. Will sit in your lap and follow you around everywhere. He does have separation anxiety and gets very upset when I try to leave. He's not destructive when I'm gone as long as I'm careful not to leave anything out he can reach. As a heeler, he yips and nips. He's a registered service dog (in training) and is relatively good in public for short bouts, but gets bored over dinner or longer outings. He has a service harness and badge. He is up to date on all shots when he was neutered. All medical records from the person I adopted him from as well. The adoption fee is to ensure serious adopters only. I've put six times that much money into this dog and do not want all of it back, obviously. Available equipment for additional negotiated amount: Long-lead leash and running leash. Harness. Muzzle. Collar and vibrating collar. Life vest. Two months flea prevention, 8 months heartworm prevention. I have a buffet of toys for him, ropes, tugs, balls. A slow bowl. Automatic feeder and waterer. A reflective safety vest, life vest, Kong toys I stuff with peanut butter and freeze for him. A crate. 2 seatbelts. Apple air tag. Shampoo. Movable fencing that he doesn't jump over or dig under. Just let me know what you're interested in and what you think is a fair price.
