Onyx is a sweet, smart, high energy, 8 month old Golden Retriever ( 19%) poodle (29%) Chesapeake Bay Retriever (52%). He is trained to do his business in a kiddie pool with pine pellet litter. He is currently on a combination raw and quality kibble diet. He has had all the vaccines available and is scheduled for his final booster shots on Feb. 16, 2025, then he is ready for his new home. He is intact. I checked not good with children because I have a 2 and 4 year old living with me. He is not aggressive toward them, he is just too rambunctious with smaller people. I am hoping to find him a good home with someone who understands the breed, and the training he needs. He is a good boy who just needs an owner who matches his energy. I got him at 8 weeks old because my best ever dog was a Chessie and I loved the combination Onyx is. However, I'm 78 years old now, not 40. It is obvious to me now that he is too much dog for me and I'm going to hurt myself. You can call or text with any questions you might have.
