About Hazel

We are looking for an adopter or foster for our beautiful girl Hazel. She's truly the best dog. She's been doing amazing with training, is the quickest learner, and has never shown any signs of dog aggression, even when approached unexpectedly by off leash dogs at the park. She LOVES humans. She just recently had a dog play date with a coworkers dog and she did great! She played and was even good with their little kids that are ages 4-6. We can say she could be a good family dog. She's on the lower energy side, mostly wants to be around her humans. Being a shadow is her favorite thing. She's happy to be where you are, just curling up beside you on the couch. The only reason we are making this heartbreaking decision is due to her and our cats not fitting well together. She does show a higher prey drive towards them but is making great progress! She currently can be in the same room with our two cats supervised and on leash. We do believe she can get there with lots of time and patience. She is potty/house trained, and crate trained. She's around 46 pounds so definitely a smaller pit. Please reach out for more info!
