Diamond was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter when her owner's landlord no longer allowed dogs as pets. It wasn't her fault!! She is a very nice girl and super social with everyone she meets. It's obvious she was loved in her previous home as she is respectful and listens well to commands, especially in reward of a treat. Diamond is adjusting to life at the shelter but would rather find a new home as the shelter is a stressful environment for her. She does not seem to like other dogs and would do best as the only pet. She is a little sized girl (50lbs and will climb into you lap if you let her.. she loves to give and receive affection. Please give her a chance and go meet her at AHS Newark NJ
