About Penelope

Miss Penelope was brought in as a stray by a good samaritan. This girl is super sweet but a little shy at first. It doesn't take much for her to want to crawl into your lap and once she's comfortable she is the goofiest girl. She will get the zoomies when she is excited and LOVES treats. She is so gentle and submissive. She loves other dogs and keeps trying to play with the cats and will bark if they ignore her. Penelope is about 5 months old and 32 pounds. Please help Penelope find the loving home she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
