About PAX

This adorable 9 year old senior fellow is Pax. His brother is Koa. I've had both littermates since they were babies. They have a love hate relationship and have always had little squabbles since they were teeny weeny babies. We did not know about littermate syndrome and are learning. My wife passed away losing their alpha pack leader so the squabbles have escalated. Each dog alone is a sweetheart. Months will go by and they are perfectly fine then all of a sudden they will both want the same toy and things get ugly. As I sit and write this, I know each of these boys needs a better home. I am saddened and humbled to know what is best for one of them is to go to a new, better home. We should have separated them years ago but we always thought it would just get better. It is very hard for me to chose which boy to rehome. I love them both dearly but, in the end, they would do so much better in their later years without each other. They are older and both probably would do best in a home where they can revel in human kindness and be stroked and scratched while sitting close to their human. I can keep either one but not both. You are welcome to come meet both boys and chose which is best for your family. I know once they are apart they will thrive. Please....at least think about meeting them if you are in the market for an older Weimaraner that doesn't need the activity of a youngster. They are both healthy and active but slowing down a bit. I can send you more photos of both if you'd like to meet them. I am in the San Diego area where the 805 and the 15 meet near Altadena area. I can bring one or both to you to meet in mutual location if that's better for you. I will do anything to make the lives of these two marvelous creatures much more harmonious. My name is Paul.
