About Nova

We are sadly making the hard decision of having to rehome our girl, Nova. We rescued her back in August and she has been amazing. When we recued her, we were told she was good with cats, sadly she is not and we have 4. We have tried all of the training tips and tricks to help with this and it has worked some but she still has the natural drive to chase them. She is still a pup at just over a year old. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is housebroke, crate trained, does a few tricks and has the typical hound energy as well as the stubbornness at times. She is spoiled and goes to doggy daycare 3 days a week and has been allowed to sleep at the end of the bed ( we lover her that much). She's our first pup after having lost our Plott hound who was almost 18! I know some will say re-home our cats, but they were in our lives first and we love them just as well. We are located in North Idaho and will keep her as long as needed until we find the right family that will be best suited for her. We believe she would do great with a playmate, she does great with our children, she needs the room to run and exercise daily or else she will keep you up at night, she has never once chewed on a shoe, furniture or anything she shouldn't. But she LOVES to fetch, and play with all the dog toys, especially the ones with squeakers. She is a big good ball and has an amazing personality! Also, we were told that she is Bluetick but later found out she is Bluetick and Plott. It is with a very sincere, sad heart that we find her a forever family.
