About Nyx

URGENT!!! [Case opened on 2/11/25]. BEDFORD, IN (will drive up to 6 hrs to meet) . Est. 1.5 y/o FEMALE GSD. Her name is 'NYX '. Background: Current Shepherd Parent rescued Nyx about 6 months ago from a Kill Shelter. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with OLDER kids, UNKNOWN with young kids. Good with most dogs, but PLEASE READ BELOW!. NOT good with cats. House trained. Crate trained (has good behavior when left alone and out as long as everything is up and put away). No known medical issues. ABUSE HISTORY. EXTREMELY HIGH PREY DRIVE (has killed a piglet and chickens). Currently on REDFORD NATURALS SALMON food. Weighs 55 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: Bones - scratches - being loved on - going on walks - going into stores - playing in water - playing with other dogs - food - treats - car rides. Personality: intelligent and quirky. Nyx was rescued from a High Kill Shelter. She was extremely malnourished with signs of abuse. She is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. She is good on a leash. She is amazing in public and loves to go into stores. The Current Shepherd Parent has two younger shepherds and one older shepherd that is 6 years old. Nyx gets along great with the two younger ones but attacks the older one. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Nyx because Nyx is constantly trying to attack the six-year-old GSD and she's afraid that one of them are going to get killed. Nyx will thrive best in a loving home with NO cats or small animals and NO other dogs, unless you are breed experienced and will be able to handle any situation that may occur.
