We rescued this wonderful creature, lab/shepherd mix, only to discover she loves us but not our lifestyle. What we've come to learn (from our vet and our trainer) is that her traits/behaviors are 'shepherd-dominant'. The issue with us is that like most shepherds, she can swim but doesn't enjoy the water. We're retired so we spend a lot of time on the water. We want to do right by her and have come to the difficult decision that we need to find a better situation for her. She's beautiful, healthy, very loving. She loves children and other dogs. She graduated Puppy Training.
