Belle is a brown and black brindle Mountain Cur with webbed feet and white star on her chest. We rescued Belle at 3 months old and have trained her extensively and are consistent with our expectations and she is very well behaved. Through our training, she will not even leave our yard without us. She loves to fetch and loves being active with other dogs or people. We have even trained her to jump in the bathtub for a bath and I blow dry her afterwards which she always gets a reward treat. She loves to hike and exercise. She is excellent with adults and children of any age. She walks beautifully on leash. She has NEVER chewed anything except her own toys which we only give her Kong Extreme because she can be a power chewer with her toys. She loves affection and only barks when someone approaches our home. She can be left at home unattended. She is housebroken and signals when she needs to go out. She is also crate trained although we never need to crate her. She is prone to occasionally breaking out with a rash in her private area but we use wipes to keep that area clean. The vet suggested a surgery to pull the skin back on either side to alleviate this. Belle is allergic to chicken and we only feed her Hills Food Sensitivities Z/D for which we get a yearly prescription from our vet. Due to our health issues, we need to rehome her. This has been a very difficult decision for us but she deserves more activity than we can provide. The perfect home for Belle would be an active family as she loves the outdoors.
