DJ has been with us since she was 4mo. We adopted her from a breeder in Boston. We absolutely adore her, yet since we've had her we also adopted 2 other cats. The youngest cat (1yo) does not get along with DJ at all and so we've had to keep them apart for the last year (switching them out of different bedrooms throughout the day to roam the rest of the house). We tried so many things to get the two cats to adapt to one another (site-swapping, joint playtime and treats, several attempts at slow introductions, CBD oil for DJ) yet nothing works for DJ's intense dislike of our other cat. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to rehome DJ. Although we 3 children and a low-energy senior dog (17yo black lab mix), we believe DJ is meant to be a solo pet in a house that has someone working from home as she loves company of the human-kind. She's a lap cat, likes to sleep on your bed, very affectionate, super intelligent and very food motivated (especially for her bonito fish flake treats). She's very healthy and strictly an indoor cat. We hope you can provide a loving and fun home for her because she deserves to live in a house where she has free rein without the fear of another cat around the corner. She enjoys spending time on our screened porch during the warmer months and she eats wet food once a day. If you're able to provide all these things for her please contact me for an interview.
